My name is Sergi González, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a florist in Barcelona. We’ve been Metz customers for quite some years now. Last year I won the Scala Verde “Fruity contest”. I’m looking for a florist that is willing to give me a place to work and get to know the local floristry during the month of August 2010. I would also like to take this opportunity to improve my English skills. I’m willing to work for food and accommodation, but if it’s preferred to pay me and let me find my own accommodation etc. that’s no problem either. Preferably I would like to work in a smaller town or village, where there is no chance of running into Spanish speaking people and where I can really get to know the people and the local culture.

We are looking for a talented florist who is familiar with all aspects of floristry, including taking and executing daily shop orders, advising customers, deliveries, conditioning, displays and general shop maintenance. You will also help with contract, wedding, event and funeral work.

Professional qualifications are a bonus but we are more interested in someone with creative flair and style and who will help us continue to build on the excellent reputation we have in the city. You will also have excellent customer service skills to deal with the wide mix of customers we serve, and be calm and unflappable under pressure.

We are also looking for a florist to help out on a casual basis during busy periods and at peak times, such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day and wedding season.
